The official opening of Burroughs Falls Park will take place on Sunday, 5 October 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at 14475 Route 143, Stanstead-East.

The park is teeming with extraordinary floral and wildlife diversity. This 13-hectare site has been protected by the Massawippi Conservation Trust since 2023 in collaboration with the Massawippi Foundation. After several years of making the environment accessible and safe for all, the municipality of Stanstead East is finalizing the park’s development and preparing a grand official opening to inaugurate it.

From that date onwards, you will have the opportunity to walk along the landscaped trails, observe the surrounding nature and discover the fascinating history of the place.

Le parc regorgeant d’une diversité florale et faunique hors du commun. C’est un site de 13 hectares est protégé par Fiducie de conservation Massawippi depuis 2023 en collaboration avec la Fondation Massawippi. Après plusieurs années à rendre l’environnement accessible et sécuritaire pour tous, la municipalité de Stanstead-Est finalise l’aménagement du parc et elle prépare une grande ouverture officielle afin de l’inaugurer. 

À partir de cette date, vous aurez alors la chance de marcher au travers des sentiers aménagés, d’y observer la nature qui les entourent et d’y découvrir l’historique fascinant de l’endroit.
