Meet Dominique Voyer
Dominique Voyer joined the Foundation’s Board of Directors in the fall of 2025. She brings extensive experience in business leadership, governance, and community engagement to the organization.
Dominique and her family have owned a country home on Lake Massawippi since 2008 and have long supported the Foundation’s mission. Over the years, they have enjoyed exploring the region’s remarkable trail network and have developed a deep appreciation for the Foundation’s work protecting the natural landscapes that make this area so special.
Her commitment to community extends beyond the Eastern Townships. Dominique previously served on the board of the Hadley Community in Montreal, where she helped lead several successful fundraising initiatives. Through this experience, she developed a strong appreciation for the power of bringing people together around a shared purpose.
Dominique holds an Executive MBA from McGill–HEC Montréal and a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the Université de Montréal. She also served as a Clinical Associate with the Université de Montréal Faculty of Pharmacy.
An entrepreneur for more than 20 years, Dominique owned and operated a highly successful pharmacy in Montreal, leading a team of more than 80 employees. Since 2017, her organization held exclusive contracts to provide pharmacy services to Cree communities in James Bay and Montreal, and since 2018 to the 14 communities of Nunavik through the RRSSSN. Under her leadership, the business received numerous honours, including recognition as Pharmaprix’s Pharmacist Owner of the Year and Shoppers Drug Mart/Pharmaprix Pharmacy Team of the Year. She is recognized for her strategic vision, entrepreneurial mindset, and collaborative leadership.
More recently, Dominique became Executive Director of Vie North Hatley, a community initiative dedicated to strengthening, preserving, and thoughtfully shaping the future of one of Quebec’s most treasured villages. In this role, she combines her passion for community-building with her extensive business experience to help ensure North Hatley’s long-term vitality while respecting its unique heritage and natural environment.
Outside of work, Dominique enjoys running, hiking, and spending time with her family—especially exploring the trails around Lake Massawippi and cheering on her children at the hockey rink.
Reflecting on her decision to join the Foundation’s Board, Dominique says:
“The Massawippi region has given my family some of our most cherished moments. Over the years, I have walked the Foundation’s beautiful trails with my husband, my children, and dear friends, creating memories that will stay with us forever. Joining the Massawippi Foundation Board is my way of helping protect the forests, landscapes, and natural beauty that have given us so much. My hope is that one day my grandchildren and great-grandchildren will walk these same trails, admire these same forests, and experience the same sense of wonder, peace, and connection to nature that my family has been so fortunate to enjoy.”
